Music is my religion. And I love a ton of black music: blues, jazz, swing, gospel, rock, funk, reggae, soul. And I hate Trump. But that halftime show does nothing for me musically at all. Nothing. Sorry. Its the emperor's new clothes as far as I can see.

I’m not a fan of masc singers or rappers, so I’ll admit seeing SZA was the highlight for me (though his use of her as exemplar of “safe” music bothered me a bit).

Having said that, he did give a delightful blend of petty and political that seemed perfect for the moment! Very very well done!
