World leaders against trump know where this is headed and what the end goal is. We were here 80 years ago & the cost to stop it was devastating.

Columbia-specific issue, but they are not fighting this because they agree with many of the moves and are using the federal threats as an excuse to do things they want to do after the protests last year. Some of them saw the protests last year as existential and requiring some final solution. Bad.

thanks Leah. i think the one-two punch i keep getting floored by is that Trump's admin does horrible thing X, and there's no legal push back the vast majority of time. i get that the more you have to lose, the more conservative you self-justify a tepid response, but the watching by the gallery...
