Sorry but I got very lucky and don't have much body hair. I'm the one Italian American trans gal who doesn't get chest or back hair, somehow. But facial hair was my huge dysphoria trigger so I sympathize greatly and wish I had more advice. If anyone else has some, chime in - ThreadSky

Get a good foil razor. Takes way less mental load than traditional shaving with about the same effort.

Honestly, this is the one I use and it was about $30 at Walmart on sale. It does its job, but after a year it's not as good as it was, so I should probably get a new one. Still, though, it takes about 30 seconds to do my facial hair and you'd have to be right in my face to see any stubble after.

And, unless I've really let it grow out, it can dry shave my legs with little issue, too, which is so nice. (Our water heater is a bit shit, so having a long enough shower to also shave is rare.)

It ain't cheap, but laser was a huge help for me personally. I still have some stray beard hairs that come in and the upper lip needs a light shave every few days, but it got the bulk of the hair and (importantly) most of the beard shadow.
