The best adaptation ever done, helps it more or less is sticks close to the classic book in terms of actions and dialogue. Not a bad job for the Muppets. Best Christmas movie ever

Not at all. Taste is totally subjective. There are many movies (Christmas or otherwise) where my enjoyment has nostalgia doing the heavy lifting so I get it.
