Still sad that there doesn’t seem to be any research examining the differences in marine and freshwater larval fish morphology at the genetic level. Marine larvae look like little aliens. Freshies look like fish. I also don’t know enough to know if this is something that would ever be funded. 🤷🏻‍♀️
