too late for this provincial election but for any young voters who lack govt ID with their address (ie no driver's license) you can get an Ontario Photo Card which is valid for proving eligibility in *federal* elections, too
I just made an appointment to get one of these at 37 haha. I vote with my passport and voter card (if I hadn't received it in time, I'd need an official piece of mail like bills, Notice of Assessment, etc.)
The Ontario Photo card os a highly useful piece of ID for young men who might be out of school, not have a DL yet, possibly drifting a bit but need to replace their health card.
I hate that virtue signalling automatically brings up bad sentiments (thanks to people trying to woke’ify the term)…when this is a lovely thing they did 🙏
the voting card is not accepted as proper id at a polling place, just saying it is easy to get lots of cards in any large building's mail room.
ID requirements as listed there apply to everyone.
cheers
We received ours today, along with $200 cheques. Tomorrow I'll be casting a vote for the best candidate in Leeds–Grenville–Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes. Were this a ranked ballot, current MPP Steve Clark would be my fourth choice.
Our voter cards arrived last night. Hubs and I voted in an advance poll on Saturday. We also have a first time voter who now has her card, and is ready to vote tomorrow on her way to class.
Follow Up Tweet: She voted! And asked a poll worker, "can I have a sticker now?" And was super disappointed to find out that we don't get "I voted" stickers in Canada.
I worked for 3 days at the advanced polls last week. I would guess that 60% of the people coming into the centre did NOT have their Voter ID cards yet. Many came from other areas of Hamilton because they didn't know where to vote but they weren't allowed to vote at our poll. So many mixups.

She's been tirelessly working to get the word out about defeating Ford and now to help get the vote out.
