It kinda depends on your threshold. Was “Alfred Hitchcock: The Art of Making Movies” themed to an intellectual property? The short lived tram tour? Animal Actors? It’s difficult at a studio park, like people saying Rip Ride Rockit’s IP was the Universal Music Group. Lol.

I'm pretty sure UMG isn't under the Comcast/NBCU unbrella. They licence the name after a spinoff years ago.

I'd probably consider Hitchcock and Horror Makeup IP.

IP was always Universal’s crutch. There are only a few original things they’ve built over the years (throw in Port of Entry, Lost Continent, and Celestial Park in there, too). Very different than Disney, which fans really relish their original work and have only recently pivoted towards all-IP.

With respect, I don't get this fuss over "IP." Disney (and Universal) are studios. They're going to tell their stories in the parks. It's in their DNA. Walt built Sleeping Beauty Castle 4 YEARS before the film's release! Guests who want IP-free rides can save 💸 going to Knott's/Six Flags/Cedar Fair.
