It happens and is ok if they grew up in the opposing teams town. One of my English cousins started following American football so he could understand what the hell I was talking about. Then he became a Patriots fan just so he could give me sh** when they beat the Ravens...Game is on in 10 days!
People have literally burnt their cities to the ground after winning championships, so yeah, a whole lot of emotion is involved in sports. My preference is watching a guy pound a tennis racket into oblivion, get a new one, and continue on with the match.
Iβm a transplant Kansas native so my loyalty to the Chiefs is understood. I raised my children deep in bears country and somehow raised a Steelers fan. I donβt try to understand it anymore π€·π»ββοΈ pic of us at the Chiefs/Steelers game on Christmas.
Thereβs some bar in South Philly thatβs a big Chiefs bar. I vaguely remember Problemsβ’οΈ there last time they played each other in the Super Bowl.
Big Charlie's Saloon did not open for business during the Eagles-Chiefs Superbowl to avoid problems. It's two blocks from my house and I will be going there to have one beer this evening and talk a little trash while I can.
