I think Microlejeunea ulicina is a good bet as the shoots are more scattered as well as leaves are close as you say. Not totally sure though!

Ooh I hadn't even thought of that, thank you! I'm going back tomorrow to take better pictures. I didn't have all my extra kit with me. I think I'll collect a bit and try to find my microscope.
