Sheryl Crow has sold her Tesla to protest “President Musk” and donated the money to NPR. “There comes a time when you have to decide who you are willing to align with,” she writes.

Calling NPR a “MAGA shill” is a reach, but they’ve definitely fallen down the ladder of news orgs I trust. @propublica.org would’ve been a better choice.
Trump's FCC is erroneously investigating NPR and Musk wants to defund them. They haven't been as bold in their language as they could be in reporting on this admin, but they consistently cover the unflattering stories that Trump hates, and NPR News Now is still peak, per Ad Fontes. Def not shills.
Your milquetoast response “they haven’t been as bold in their language” says all I need to know about why we Democrats are failures nationally. NPR has a platform however temporary it may be now. Be bold or be complicit. Don’t sane wash shit to keep your job. That’s what 1930s Germans did.
I agree with you that all news outlets have a responsibility to be more bold in their reporting right now and commit to calling out bad actors, and at the same time there's no evidence to suggest that the factuality of NPR's reporting has been compromised.
Cool. Let’s finish this discussion is person when we get to the re-education camp. Hopefully we can listen to some “both sides” stories from NPR on our little homemade radio at night when the sky is clear.
