If you are on here and still actively use Twitter (ie, not a dormant account to own the handle or check news etc) I'd love to know why because an actual sig heiling fascist owns it.

Occasionally, more often than not it’s just replying mostly about people being wrong about disability benefits and fraud.

That I’ll keep doing as long as people keep posting about fraud being an issue. They won’t change their mind but someone else might see it who does

I only ever used the following feed not the algorithmic “For You” so all I ever see are individuals that I choose to follow (not too many now tbf). I am curious to know what these people are talking about (some of them are in power! Lots of British politicians!).

I hate the way it deranks external links, I hate it isn’t accessible without logging in. It feels more like a group chat than a social network. I am happy that Bluesky feels inevitable but there are areas where X is strong (eg politics and silicon valley, so want to keep some skin in this game).

I have left my account. It's an archive of me for over a decade, it's interesting and useful to keep, but I don't want to actively use it when it is what it is.

Yes, I get it. I said the network one until a few months ago. I do understand, I just can't imagine where someone's line is, though, if it's not a nazi salute at the inauguration.
