They sell excellent stuff.
It’s a company well worth supporting.
If you like woodwork, gardening or cooking there’s something for you.
It’s my go-to for great woodworking tools.
Their Veritas brand of designed and made in Canada tools are wonderful industrial designs.

In Vancouver they take down the order on paper slips with triple copies and somebody rings it for you. You have to speak to humans there. They do have a decent online ordering system but walking around the floor area is truly the most fun. It is not overwhelming and well curated

My mother, long gone now, used to sculpt in stone (amateur at a community centre class). Lee Valley was considered to be the best provider of stone sculpting tools. She got a number of tools from them.

My late father was an industrial arts teacher, he recreated a school shop at home with tools from #LeeValley and his Christmas and birthday gifts came from there too. Must be a generational thing, as my gardening/kitchen tools; push lawnmower, and shovels to kitchen bakeware are all the same brand!

I discovered this spider/bug trap this year at Lee’s Valley tools. No creature gets killed or damaged. Gave it as a gift to Buddhist people to up their karma :). Lee also carry fantastic garden tools and books. They offer tools with variable price point rangers which helps.

Deeply miss their Downtown Toronto store. There used to be a Soma Chocolate, a Lee Valley, a Patagonia (just for dreaming usually) & MEC (as a co-op) all proximal on King Street in Toronto.
