Thanks Pixie, I don't really have anywhere else suitable to put them so they are there all the time whether they are flowering or not. Luckily as I have a few (7 at the moment but I think one is not doing well), it is quite unusual for us not to have at least one flowering at all times.

It is lovely to always have ones flowering. The one I have which is dying is really old, as you can see from its growth. 😢 I need to buy a replacement.

Try to separate the baby it got… cut it where the stem is still green, flame the cut with a lighter to seal it. Put it on fresh soil… it has already roots and just needs more water sprayed on. It’s worth a try at least 💖🤞

We are really lucky with ours, they regularly rebloom. It is really down to hubby as he is good at cutting them back when needed. I need to get a couple of new ones as I have 2 which are really old and have given up.

He cuts them back to just above a nodule. I just water them, but I know a lot of people do use ice instead. They don't need a lot of water.

What type of medium? Plain old orchid mix or is something added. I've never been able to keep orchids and have tried several types.

Good morning Jean. We have had them for many years, I just got rid of one which was about 20 years old and finally had given up. We are lucky to have 2 windowsills in the kitchen / family room which work perfectly for them.

Thanks P. They seem to bloom about twice a year. They also stay in bloom for quite a long time, about 2 mths. Because we have several plants we usually have at least one in bloom all the time. Must admit I do not really keep track of when they flower the best.
