I've really come around to this movie since first watching it. The incest-adjacent relationship was... something. It definitely alienated me. But, OTOH, Hamlet is also about incest, and that's a banger of a Shakespeare play. And I can't deny, Royal Tenenbaums is a pretty great Wes Anderson film.
That was around the time I watched Clueless, and learned, to my slowly unfolding horror, that it was also incest-adjacent. Big year for that lmao. As of yet Clueless has not won me over.
