My earliest MKE media memories are of reading McNally (and Dave Berkman) in the Shepherd and thinking it seemed like a fun gig. An effortlessly talented and entertaining writer. Met him once and was kinda starstruck. RIP.

Listening to Brewers spring training. The absence of Uecker in the “Brewers Radio Network” commercial bumpers is particularly gutting. Even when he wasn’t calling a game he was present in those bumpers. Not anymore.
