You can. Go to a picture, report it, and use “I don’t like” as a reason. You’ll then get an option to block it.

Not an idiot at all. People do skim when they read, and that colour contrast achieved Meta’s aim of subliminally flagging it as inessential. I bet you most people won’t register that aside, and the company will be exploiting that.

1/2 Not entirely true. It does say in the image posted, "AI managed by Meta". Also, the profile image of "Liv" clearly states that she is an AI. However, it is misleading to present her as a "proud black queer momma of 2" as it does in the profile description.

My guess is that they want the bots to increase interactions on the site. Joe Real Person will interact with Liv Fake Person a few times and think they are friends, and then Joe comes to the site more often to spend more time with Liv (a version of how Replika works, or other "AI friends" apps).
