It occurred to me last night that microwaves are kinda like LLMs.
Remember when they first came out, people bought microwave cookbooks, and special vented plastic cookware, and they were going to change the way we cooked and ate forever?
Now we use them for defrosting mince, and reheating cold tea.

(OTOH I kinda like to save my corn for those times a friend fired up their charcoal grill. *That* is a childhood flashback for me, taste-wise.)
What I remember was you do the normal 1:1.5 rice-to-water ratio in a dish, and set it free. But I hated the results.
Why would you?
But also absolutely no one is making a three-course dinner from scratch in one?
Honestly I can accept most unharmed things... BUT then you said reheating tea, which is a crime against the British and is punished by indefinite detention or a lifetime supply of insipid fruit infusions
Takes same amount of time and the popcorn is so much better. (Use the microwave for 30 seconds to melt the butter to pour on top.)
