This poor lady hustled as hard as she could to beat the light and then had to fight the snow that was plowed into the curb cut. Municipal sidewalk plowing now!

Around here it’s the law to have the sidewalk cleared by the property owner. No, not only commercial properties, also the sidewalks in front of private property. If not done you may be fined (rarely) and if there’s an accident the insurance company will want to have a word (you can bet on it).

yeah, that's how it is here too (Minneapolis in the pic) but that puts the onus on neighbors who could be disabled or otherwise unable to keep their sidewalks ada accessible. No one is responsible for the bus stops either.

We need the city to plow the sidewalks.
