For no particular reason I'm going to post a recommendation for my favorite "learning to be a witch" story, Witch Hat Atelier! Gorgeous art, actually well-thought-out rules to how magic works, and gay characters!

I just started reading this the other day after hearing comparisons to Dungeon Meshi in terms of worldbuilding and depth. It's very good and Very beautiful!
I'm going to show you one of the best page transitions I have ever seen from a manga/comic book. This haunts me cause I know I probably could never come up with something this clever in my life. I guides you so seamlessly from one page to the next and right up to the top left panel.
The artwork is stunning in this manga. The author also draws some covers for Marvel comics from time to time if I'm not mistaken.
Great world building, memorable characters and good mysteries in this series.
Very satisfactory cliffhangers included
It's incredibly beautiful, thoughtful, full of joy, but also difficult subjects. It's definitely an example of aspirational amount of passion, heart and hard work on the part of the artist. And I say this after only 3 books. I hope the rest of the series is even better.
