I really don't understand how CAG/beat 'em up adjacent games can get away with not showing off enemies in promo material without fans demanding it. None of the mechanics matter without enemies to properly contest them, it'd be like showing a platformer's movement in an empty room with no obstacles

slightly speaking from experience here. I thought SoR4 was peak at first but then struggled to return to it (& was similarly bored by shredder's revenge)
okay now I'm just being mean.
Sunshine I don't like, but I don't think it's because of a lack of interesting level layouts. It's got... other problems.
Odyssey really is just too fucking big in a lot of its areas. Some of the smaller ones are fun.
Or they're Lost Kingdom. Lost Kingdom's great.
