have you heard the roger water's solo album 'pros and cons of hitch hiking' which i believe he pitched to the band at the same time and they went with this one and he made the solo one with clapton..
It's not fun, but there are some brilliant songs here; 'Your Possible Pasts' and 'Not Now John' especially.
But as it stands:
Wish You Were Here
The Wall
Dark Side Of The Moon
(No prizes for originality π)
Are you planning on checking out `The Pros and Cons of Hitchhikingβ? Clapton plays guitar on the album.
I am, I read a lot about the solo albums of the Pink Floyd band members in the Mark Blake biography, and want to hear them all.
They are interesting dudes.
Iβd also highly recommend watching Roger Watersβ concert film Us + Them. It features mostly Floyd material, accompanied by some unbelievable visuals. The portions from The Wall and Animals are especially spectacular.
I've put a link to it here - there's plenty of cheaper copies online.
