Did healthcare costs go down for everybody? Did wages catch up with inflation for everybody? Is it relatively simple to afford housing? Is higher education prioritized and affordable? Measure the economy with metrics voters care about.

Effective at what? Not at raising wages. Not at fixing healthcare. Not at reducing housing costs. Not reducing higher education costs. Of course Republicans will do no better. But ‘vote for us, Republicans are worse’ is and has been a losing strategy. At best it garners them a narrow margin.

Partly agree. Too many voters barely made it out of high school, are uninquisitive; yet the larger problem is 2 out of 3 times trump communicated with them to beat the DNC. DNC must learn to listen to and communicate with voters. Deplorable trump is loathesome-says a lot about folks who lost to him.

And Trump can? That answer is also no, but Trump had something Biden didn't: An entire media apparatus that spun, amplified, and spoke for him. Trump has never had to do much when it comes to the press/media because he's guaranteed ratings. That's a flaw of the media, not Biden/Harris' policy/agenda

Biden gave some rather good speeches but you'd only have seen them on Youtube and C-Span. The media only reported on them through the lense of Republican attacks. The marines in the background, some mangled word. Almost nothing about the content other maybe than it being "too confrontational".
