I've been thinking about that Matt Gaetz seat. It is so overwhelmingly Republican. That part of Florida is basically the reddest part of the entire country.

It is, however, we have to start playing the long game. This isn’t a general so it’s not taking resources away from competitive races like in the general. The more we run and engage voters, the more they show up for all elections. It also makes Rd spend money. Run everywhere.

It is now doesn’t mean it will be forever unless we keep giving up. IA flipped a super Trump state seat blue a couple of weeks ago. Rs moved this state from purple to red by training their voters. Even when we lose if we increase voter turnout, it helps state wide races down the road.
