Functionally 90% of the mRNA R&D was already completed before Moderna, Pfizer, etc took over to develop the covid vaccines.
Helping other people is beneficial to you as an individual. If the people in society around you live better life you will benefit by extension. I'm really surprised why folks don't get that but then lots don't know how % work.
