Left turn arrows should always follow green lights. Half the people who run that Just Turned Red light are going the same direction as you and can't hit you. The other half are coming directly toward you where you can most easily see them and not cross in front of them.

At a roundabout you yield to traffic to your left, yet at a four way stop some claim you should yield to traffic on your right. I yield to traffic to the left and I will continue doing so.

I was coming here to say I hate roundabouts. They are hard to negotiate as far as right-of-way. They seem to exist to slow traffic down. Give me stop signs or a traffic light.

In the Mexican state where I live, you literally do not have to know how to drive to get a license. There is no test. It is just an ID.
Driving here is pleasant. Everyone is nice and cooperative, and there are no cops hiding out for a gotcha moment.

Interestingly, the use of turn signals is not standardised throughout the world. A 90º angle is obviously either right or left. But what about a 45º angle? Are you merging or are you turning? In Spain, 45º is commonly treated as a turn, while in the USA, it's merging (so the opposite signal).

Why do cars take up nearly 350sqr ft to park, making for a pedestrian nightmare to navigate a monolith of wasted concrete and space designed for the egos of drivers of lifted F-350's?

Are walkable cities a thing of the future? Does Disneyland capitalize on these building concepts masterfully?
