I feel like this is basically our entire societies issue. Black women keep warning people and we keep dismissing them and then we are fucked sideways, up and down, unto the heat death of the universe.

Today I spoke with a Black woman who tried to warn an organization to develop an emergency plan for operations if they lost substantial funding. The org leaders thought she was exaggerating and failed to develop a plan. They just lost more than half of their budget, as she predicted. Still no plan..
