Something I'm doing in Trump 2.0: Letting go of the need to have an in-depth take. I'm also not letting that feeling of "Everyone has already said what needs to be said" overcome my reaction to events. If something is terrifying or noteworthy, I can just say it's terrifying or noteworthy.

A completely myopic approach to the election on the part of the DNC and it's boosters had more to do with Trump winning than his ability to hold attention in the media cycles. They went out of their way to ignore their base in favor of paid (sponsored) internal polling, eg Michigan
The DNC didn't have a primary.
They ignored any criticism of support for a genocide.
The they bragged about it in Michigan.
Truly, I could go on.
