This is Boomer. He was found as a 12-year-old stray. He was desperately thirsty despite drinking water nonstop. Tests show he has a disorder called Cushing's Disease. He needs lifelong medication and ongoing care to get better. You can help him below β€οΈβπ©Ή

I've got the human version of Chushing's disease..
It's definitely controllable with the right medication and a healthy diet..
It's a horrible disease. π’π
The skin disease - calcinosis cutis - was devastating.
He had a terrible reaction to the last medicine we tried and that's when I knew he was tired and it was the end. π
Can you repost the pinned images on my page? This would make a huge difference. Thank you.ππ
LOVE YOUR ANIMALS - GET THEM REGULAR CHECKUPS!
Gotta love him but I'm not sure
I just wonder how many more years he'll live, if not from the disease
All I know is one my dad had passed away at 14
The panic attacks are no joke either
K-thx-bye! π«Ά

The vet suggested Traditional Medicinals brand, 1 teabag in 10 ounces boiled water to make tea. Steep 1/2 hour.
Add 4 ounces cooled tea to 4 cups water in bowl. Keeps 24 hours. They like it.
