Anyone else do things like this? I have 2 gallons of chicken broth (made from Costco rotisserie chicken bones) that I put outside to cool off before putting in the fridge. Free food cooling season is ending soon. π’

We used to do this all the time in Wisconsin, especially at Christmas gatherings where fridge space is at a premium. It's no longer a given that we will have snow or that it will be cold enough, though.
At first I thought the lid in that picture was covering an ice fishing hole for some reason.
How convenient if you could catch fish there, though.
