I think more of it is the struggles teams have had when they get to the Championship after being a bad enough “pragmatic” team to get relegated.

That and the chasm financially between the Premiership and Championship.

Used to say Newcastle had a problem with keeping one foot in both leagues.

An interesting side point, I managed an U14s girls team we spend hours in training working on passing and movement, control and positioning.

When it comes to match day teams that just punt it to the fast girl upfront usually win. 🤷
