Because it was in good faith from someone of another language tradition, I didn’t actually mind too much. I have family who couldn’t get my name right and my mother (and grandmother) were far less charitable to them. 😂

My school board. Someone once spoke my (weird) name to someone else over the phone, and it became "Pat Bernard". This incorrect name was even on my (first, self-rejected) diploma. I took the mike and made sure everybody knew. Second, corrected diploma came five months later.
