This election was not a landslide, good and energetic people, especially in red states can make a significant difference. Remember how the ‘Tea Party’ operated? Democrats need to use the same tactics, relentlessly
I am worried about the Dems. I'm not hopeful they'll provide the strong leadership needed for the next few months much less 4 years. It was really disappointing they voted for Connelly over AOC. We need fresh new voices & ideas. Sadly, all it seems we'll be getting is the same old ones🥺
Because of their laws Houston Methodist Sugar Land, a hospital that should have been treating a human being, instead worried about Texas Abortion Laws.
All she needed was a simple procedure that would have been available to her if Republicans hadn’t changed abortion laws. Instead she was tortured, waiting for word that she could be treated, unable to breathe. Those were her last moments.
Porsha wanted that baby.
We hope this was the right place to put this. Thanks for reading if you have. The Red Memorial is two people operating out of an apartment. We hope to grow it. We're hopeful about the January 6th Indivisible meeting. We're hoping to get involved. Please share Porsha's story if you can.
There's an additional effort being made to uphold the 14th Amendment. It may not succeed, but it costs nothing to try. And the return on that investment could be our democracy. Details are at https://nowmarch.org/
The fascists in the executive branch will usurp congressional authority and break the rules to achieve their goals. The process to hold them accountable after the fact is clearly broken, and the chief executive has immunity from constitutional limits on his behavior.

Again, Dems fail at messaging. We need leadership and to be vocal to let GOP know the People don't want their policies in order to get GOP defections. Where is this Leadership?
If you’re concerned about Dem leadership what have you done personally to put pressure on that leadership and what actions would you suggest others take to do the same?
Fail at messaging? To point out they have a microscopic majority? Have you seen the chaos among the GOP infighting? It matters. Also https://Indivisible.org is ALL about getting citizens in mass to pushback on their House members to pressure them to do what WE the voters want them to do.
Someone could've led a march to mobilize us. I volunteer on campaigns & sign petitions, etc. but I believe right now there is a void of leadership, no direction on what ACTION we can take NOW. IMO the avg GOP pov is that we're impotent, acquiescing. We need someone to lead us NOW to some visibility.
I was on a call of 20,000 people after this last election……more and more Americans are looking to get involved. Find your tribe and get volunteering. Am individual has little power, but people in groups are hard to ignore.
UN is criticized for being a debate society. I don't want Dems to be that - yes we talk and join groups, but do we DO anything. We need to be proactive and vocal, not just talking and sharing memes in our bubble
Apparently you’re not listening or understanding what I’m saying. There are thousands of Indivisible groups across this country and are about nothing but ACTION. And Indivisible isn’t the only grassroots organization, there are thousands. Here is a tiny fraction of groups doing the work out there.
I campaign, sign petitions, do whatever asked. But are we vocal enough for GOP to hear/see?? MAGA has flags, rallies, parades. Dems need to be AS vocal or MORE so. Marches, rallies, parades, protests! We need to be Vocal & Seen! We need leadership to organize this IMHO
Putting pressure on people in office is the most powerful action one can take, especially for members of the House. They have to run for their seat every 2 years. Rallies, protests are fine but that isn’t saying, “We will actively replace you, if you don’t do what a majority of us want.”
I disagree. I’ve been a volunteer with https://Indivisible.org since 2016. They have gathered Americans across this country to fight and pushback against the worst the gop has attempted. It was Indivisible members efforts that saved the ACA. Every week they send members a short list of actions to take.

Porsha had a miscarriage on June of 2023. That should have been tragic enough. But because of the Fascist Republicans it wasn’t.

Porsha was killed by Fascist Republicans.
Porsha wanted that baby.
How can we remember her? How can we honor her memory?
The next time anyone praises a republican or their laws. Please tell them about Porsha.
The executive orders will be unprecedented
Let me brag about: @indivisiblevent.bsky.social! They send out email notices of their calls-to-action. Most CTAs are of national interest.

But grassroots orgs like Indivisible have been working their tails off to pick up that slack.
I expect weird stuff to occur.
