A "Projects" directory, usually in my users directory, but on windows it is under documents.

I have a gitrepo/ folder on one computer, and I clone, pull, push as I need to any other. This applies not just to projects but to notes, research, etc.

Over ssh. I run a raspberry pi as an ssh server, with openmediavault and external ssd. Alternatively, one could run a bitvise ssh server on a windows machine that's always on.

I have a repos/ folder, and inside that, I usually have a folder-structure if it gives clarity.

And then I periodically remove stale repos

Everything is lumped in ~/Repositories. Unless it is education-related, in which case it ends up somewhere in ~/Education.

src/ folder under my home directory, organized by git repo URL (plus an obligatory "test" directory at the root for scratch test stuff)

Basically exactly like good old gopath :)
