I hear someone pronounce “charade” like “facade” ONCE and my brain marks the change as permanent.

I like in The American Presidents where the staffer calls it a big fakade, instead of facade!! 😂😂

It was probably someone British. 😂🖖🏾

That was me when i saw that one post about pronouncing yikes like nikes

Where I came from they both rhymed with "lemonade."

I work in insurance. The word homeowners has the word MEOW in it. I mentioned this in a meeting and chaos ensued.

As a child I thought “facade” and “fa-sawd” (pronounced) were different words with kinda similar meanings.
