Fortunately we have batteries and we’re still just about saving money on Agile but yeah there’s been very little constant wind this season which has been terrible for electric rates

I might look at it next winter. I have a heat pump so the batteries barely last past lunchtime on cold cloudy days in winter. Being able to top up mid-afternoon would be a good option. I really want to stay with Octopus but Good Energy's off-peak option is interesting too....

this demonstrates it perfectly actually, during the recent wind we would have been expecting prices of 8p but got 16p instead,
