I did my post-doc at I.U. I was thinking the same. My Ph.D program (UNC-Chapel Hill) and internship (U. Of Florida) are also absent. The only one of my schools that's on there is the University of WA.

I'm glad people protested. I question whether Dr. Cauce's decision was pressured. I've known her for nearly 40 years. She was my primary mentor at U.W. She is Cuban, highly principled, and her brother, an activist, was murdered by the KKK when she was young. She knows tre stakes more than most.

I remember when the 2003 case happened. My nephew had applied to the U of M School of Engineering and was denied. He and his parents made a big deal about it, crying reverse discrimination 🙄

I am embarrassed to say that I don't see the name of Jon Levin, President of Stanford. I'm, at the very least, disappointed. And am waiting for an explanation. The letter is very little different (to me) than the statement he and Provost Martinez released last week.
