Unfortunately, academic presenting materials doesn't help with misinformation because the people who would sit through and be able to read something like this are most likely not the people who would believe misinformation, especially anything coming out of Kennedy Jrs mouth.

In the UK we don't have so much misinformation about vaccines. Independent Sage came about because our official scientists were held back by the then poor government and us non-scientists relied on them for covid info. It's very helpful now if you want to talk to worried friends and relatives.

It might help if people who can read things like the Independent Sage report can then sound more confident, perhaps to grandparents anxious about child vaccination if the parents themselves are better informed. It's tough competing with wall-to-wall coverage though, sending my love💕

It can feel hopeless sometimes can't it. My US relatives are feeling pretty low right now. The UK is still in a mess after leaving the EU and we take comfort in small occasional improvements!
