While the game was designed for mouse control, it already plays quite well on the Steam Deck using the touchpad. Adapting for a gamepad would take a lot of work, and there’s just always so much to do! 😅

While it is technically playable on the Steam Deck, it does not have controller support at the moment sadly.

All of our focus is on the keyboard + mouse at the moment. Controller support probably going to come after release, depending on reception.

I know it's more work, but adding controller support during development is easier than shoehorning it later. With the rise in popularity of handhelds, you'll get better differentiation and discoverability, especially since turn-based games play so well on handhelds. Just food for thought.
