disclaimer out of the way, New Active Object is a concept album crafted using only sound effects from the Klik & Play and Games Factory sound libraries. ok, there's sax and flute and stuff but most sounds are from there. it was a fun limitation.

the lyrics are from the perspective of a game object bumping against software idiosyncrasies and bad code, its inexperienced 14-year-old creator (pictured below), and the Creator of the universe.

the game very simple (but imo pretty novel) and doubles as a lyric/musician/song info app. it is synced to the album so one playthrough lasts 40 minutes. unless you pitch it down, which you can do in the GUI. that would be weird though.

this time it's actually just the software though >: ) right after this a GUI slowly forms along the bottom of the screen. the game is kinda sorta like lemmings but with a constantly bouncing object.

Finding some of the obscurer parts of the SAI was tough, and I *definitely* did not find the M1NX message board on my playthrough. Found out about that after the fact!
