I built my kids a Zelda inspired Minecraft Adventure map.
60+ hours. Nearly 2 months of steady work. It has reminded me of when my Dad made board games for me when I was little.
I am very proud of myself. I hope you have fun kids; your Dad loved making it. ๐๐ฅน

"This would be cool! Oh what if I also did this! And they'd love this too!"
No. I could work on it and add to it forever in theory. I had a plan of what to implement, a workable scope, and I stuck to it.
This leaves me a week to test and polish all the puzzles and such, its a lot of redstone and I think it all works but I have to check ๐. I'll be sure to post about how they make out with it!
so awesome! ๐ฎ
I think they will love it!!
I bit off more than I could chew but it ended up coming together!!
This is a AAA Grade Minecraft build! Well done! ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ
Back it up, throw it on Minecraft Realms (if on console) and port it to a Private Home-lab Server so its useable anywhere in the house from any device, and with credentials can access it from the web.
You are an absolute legend for this :D
I bet they'll love it ^^
But ironically, without that, I certainly wouldn't have seen this through. It was their excitement for it that kept me in the game. ๐ฅน
Do you use an editor tool or something to make a world like that?
I did not! I looked online for cool seeds first; I needed as many natural features (Mansion, Village, Temples etc) crammed into one small spot as I could find.
I hand-made all the rest. :)
Oh, can you send me the download link again?
Beautiful work, though! They'll remember it forever ๐ญ
Thanks again!
It would take maybe 15 minutes for me to rectify that. But it's a co-op map meant for 2 people (specifically kids), that I can not rectify hahaha.
It should be a hit haha!
You should be very proud! And your kids will love it... even if it takes them years to comprehend, they will. โฅ
I found a great seed first, so I had a lot of natural structures already. But 8 or so of the dungeons were fully handcrafted. :)
