The problem is not that a park is small or poorly situated...it's that what they do with it is bad for the location and the size...there are lots of really good small, weirdly situated parks in this world...they just shouldn't be a broken bench looking at a road, with a few newly dead trees...

Call me silly, but I like that little building. It just needs a bit of TLC.
A stamp-sized park at that heavy intersection is a weird idea. It's already got a lot of poorly-formed open space, heavy with traffic. A new open space that small wouldn't offer much relief, or purpose.

There are 5x3 lanes of constant loud and smelly vehicle traffic here. Presumably more once dofo rips out the yonge bike lanes. Will people want to hang out beside that? Sounds terrible to me.
