I had every intention of posting a thread today but instead today was a have a panic attack and cry in my cubicle kind of day so we’ll try again tomorrow, k? Bad days happen and it’s ok. ❤️

Please take care of yourself. Everybody else can wait. Don't feel guilty about a bad day and if you're not up for things tomorrow or the next day or however long it takes~don't feel guilty about that either.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, my 92 yo mother who had not been eligible for survivor benefit bc GPO, received her retro pymt yesterday thanks to the Social Security Fairness Act, passed when our govt card about fairness and our elderly. It makes a big difference to her so huge thank you!!!
I think I can speak for most of us when I say we're all having a lot of days like this. You're doing a hero's work keeping us informed and energized. Be kind to yourself.
When you have a day like this, maybe you need it to cry out all that fear and anxiety. A thought that may help, google and watch or look at all the people and countries that protested on April 5th.
I joined Bluesky and had the intention of posting a heritage month post and a rabbit photo every day. The past week hasn’t been good. I’m right there with you. Be kind to yourself. When you’re ready, you’ll pick yourself up and keep going.

The reason the flight attendants tell you to put on your own mask first before helping others is because you can't help anyone else if you are incapacitated.

I know it doesn’t feel like it with how our country is imploding but everything will be all right in the end.
