I made a new calendar for my Nap City setting but ended up kinda pretending it didn't exist when using the setting for ttrpg campaigns. The 30 hour day was fine at first but it cascaded into days and weeks being longer and human years being shorter

So cultures in created world will have very different calendars based on a lot of factors, both physical (solar year, lunar cycles, etc) and cultural. The ideal (if you’re a mad completist like me) is each culture would have their own that suits them and their needs.

I did for a D&D campaign - I didn't want the usual weeks and months. I think I did 12 five-week months, of 6 day weeks, for an even 360 days.

Yep! An alien planet that only has 251 26-hour days. It’s all fun and games until you have to convert it to Earth-time to understand exactly how old its Earth-originating inhabitants are and how long they’ve been there.
