I see the question of prisoner labor and the issues of for-profit prisons as separable.

There’s IMO a case to be made for literally “repaying one’s debt to society” through labor.

But attaching a profit motive to the system is toxic in SO MANY ways, and we just shouldn’t.

What you don’t see…. Any sort of fire suppression equipment or other safety equipment. You should see ventilation systems, otherwise, the fiber dust in the air will keep on growing, someday an electrical short will happen, sparks, instant fireball. Like a dryer fire, but warehouse sized.

I 💯 agree with you on all points but this guy is absolutely green screened. Look at his lighting vs the prison lighting, and how his shoulder is weirdly fuzzy outlined vs the weird sharpness of his arm. Not trying to pull a gotcha or anything, just trying to stay vigilant as technology improves.
