PTSD from the days we did dozens of LPs in the ED and routinely diagnosed strep pneumo or HIB meningitis. Once in a while pus on the brain due to strep pneumo. Now residents rarely do LPs. I hope that it doesn't become routine anymore.

Youngest has multiple episodes of cellulitis. Horrible on her face and very scary as a parent. Lucky to have an old school family doctor who responded right away and taught us what to do at the first sign.

Parents whose children have died or suffered lasting damage from preventable infections and who were convinced by so called health authorities to abstain from a vaccine which would have prevented or attenuated the disease could or should sue for damages. Perhaps this could help a change of policy.
