I've heard the term "outie bellybutton" before so you're good. It's when it protrudes out instead of being a hole. Completely harmless, I imagine it's something to do with the way the umbilical cord gets tied after birth.

It’s a term used in the tv show Severance where you are “severed” from your work-self so you call your outside self the “outie”.

It can also refer to a type of vagina 🤷 (But most people think bellybutton first yes uwu)
