Why is it illegal if you gave him immunity from prosecution? Genuine question as it feels from outside the US that you totally shifted the balance of power to the President when you granted immunity and now he's taking full advantage of it. America should stand up together and own this FU.

The majority of Americans didn't grant him immunity, a corrupt Supreme Court did.
We wanted our leaders to expand the court and to pass voting rights bill so millions of votes couldn't be purged. The people we elected ignored the urgency. A blanket FU to all Americans is unfair.

Apologies for making it sound like it's the fault of all citizens. My fear is for Americans generally that the 2 party system has been exploited to divide and conquer. The USSC is going to have to completely their schedule in order to hear all of the appeals coming their way. This will literally be their entire focus for as long as 47 is in office.
