For me, intentionally doing things that I would usually never choose to do can make me feel more directly in control and more "myself" instead of being this thing that goes through the motions.
I can't promise it'll work for everyone, but it did help me a lot.
Looks like someone got depersonalization. It’s the bodies way to protect you from getting hurt. It’s a similar version too, derealization, but that’s still feeling inside your body.
Grounding practices really, really help with this IME, although everyone is different and responds to things differently. This includes things like lying on the ground a lot, taking warm/hot baths, visualising energy flowing between yourself and the earth, T'ai Chi, yoga asanas and more.
Another thing I wanted to recommend! Getting caught up in life's mayhem is so easy, so making a habit of doing things that ground you in the current moment can lift so much stress.
Mindfulness isn't always easy at first, but cultivating it is worthwhile.
Yea its also worth it to journal ur thoughts no matter what they are for a few minutes, sometimes u start writing automatically and it can help you identify issues
I feel that way but I also see my body as just a vessel for my soul. Some days it feels like nothing is real. It helps to laugh with friends and do things that fulfill you. Life is hard enough without you being hard on yourself for not feeling normal. Be kind to you.
Seriously I cannot say “This” harder. Had the same issue until I ate a Mario 1UP. No bullshit, it helped me gain a deeper sense of myself after one night
I have this sensation and just chalked it up to the fact that I'm not on hrt or doing anything to make me feel like my body is my own instead of something I was given and just occupy
If there's a different root cause than being trans, let me know if you figure it out
Serious answer: the human condition is that we will always be both a body and the mind observing that body. Being aware of this condition won’t fix it, but it will help you remember that the two sides need different things, and speak different languages trying to get what they need.

It can be something small, too.
Keep yourself safe <3

A feeling of agency over what you do helps
Personalise your body too i guess?
The more I can do with it and the more I am comfortable within it makes me feel less trapped for mine
