Yeah. I disagree with that one sentence, because of all the other sentences about how the Pharisees just became rabbinic Judaism. Just because the common name changed - likely in part *because* of Christian slander - doesn't mean we're not the same people.

Really quick point. I was 7 years old in Orthodox Day School when I learned about the "Perushim" (Hebrew for Pharisee). It was part of that initial encounter that we were taught that those were the rabbis who were our ancestors.
