I think that's demonstrably false. There's a difference between people being responsible for their votes when they had every reason to know who Trump was and actually supporting these decisions when they see them. The great majority of voters aren't political junkies who follow every detail.
I just don't agree. I have yet to see any evidence that the people expressing remorse are doing it out of genuine concern for others; so far all the thinkpieces have highlighted Trump voters who are being personally harmed and complaining about it.
Musk has derailed the Highway Traffic Safety & Occupational Safety Admins both of which found his companies in violation of standards. Trump effectively sidelined the Labor Board, which was prosecuting unfair labor practices against Musk companies. Really, MAGA-world, is this what you voted for?
The strategy should be to create & communicate enough public outrage about Elon Musk that elected officials. Make elected realize that it won’t matter if they are primaried with Musk’s money. Make candidates realize the only way to win is to be anti-Musk. And they better make it clear fast!
Not an ounce of empathy for those in the finding out phase of this debacle. He told them exactly what he was going to do and then they wrote it all down in project 2025. If you can’t be bothered to educate yourself, then don’t vote for the dictator.
